KBDStars – Professional Scoring Documentation
Two-Device System
For official scorers, referees, and tournament operators.
1. Overview
KBDStars uses a two-device scoring system to ensure fast, accurate, and professional kabaddi match scoring.
Devices Used
- Raid Handler Device – Controls raid flow and official match timing
- Points Scorer Device – Handles all scoring actions and player status updates
This separation minimizes errors and allows smooth live scoring during tournaments.
2. Raid Handler Device
Purpose
The Raid Handler manages raid lifecycle, time control, and official interruptions. No points are added from this screen.
Available Buttons (6)
- Start Raid
Begins the current raid and starts the raid timer. - Next Raid
Ends current raid, switches raiding team, and prepares system for next raid. - Restart Raid
Restarts the same team raid; selected raider will be removed. Used when a raid is stopped due to error or interruption. - Swipe Raid
Manually switches raid side. Used in correction scenarios. - Official Time Out
Stops match timer. Used for referee decisions, injuries, or technical issues. - Team Time Out
Used when a team requests its final time-out. Timer pauses automatically.
Note: Raid Handler does not control points. It only manages raid flow and timing.
3. Points Scorer Device
Purpose
The Points Scorer screen is responsible for all scoring actions. Most scoring rules are fully automatic, including:
- All-Out (Lona)
- Super Tackle
- Player revival
The scorer only selects outcomes; KBDStars calculates points automatically.
